Having stayed at your lovely b&b we feel that we lived as Romans do. Casale Altavilla really is a bit of the "Dolce Vita". It was a pleasure to stay here in your perfect oasis.
We loved coming home from the hustle and bustle of central Rome to your warm hospitality, your big smile and
the wonderful dogs.
During our two weeks in Italy we stayed at a number of b&b's and this was our favourite!
We thank you for the great advice, the perfect breakfasts and comfortable rooms.
We will certainly reccommend Casale Altavilla to our family and friends.

Dear Simona, tante grazie per tutto, I hate to leave, this has been perfect!
I felt like we were being welcomed home. It was a wonderful arrival and you were so gracious and helpful throughout our stay. I really felt like we were old friends.
The villa was lovely. The grounds were beautiful. It was like an oasis in Rome. Pool and palm trees.
So peaceful inside those walls. The dogs were fierce looking but so sweet and friendly. Having a very large dog myself, they made me feel at home, too. The grounds and villa was all spotlessly clean. Very well maintained.
We felt privileged to be in your home.
It was in a neighborhood away from the standard tourist areas in Rome. We ate a number of wonderful meals at a delightful family run restaurant just down the street. Having lived in Rome more than 20 years ago I was hoping to recapture some of that ambiance and I did. Signora Vita really cares about her residents. We occupied two of three rooms and became friends with a nice British couple who stayed in the third room. It was fun to share stories.
I really felt like I was family and found it difficult to leave.
The real benefit of being there is that you see the real Rome and not just the Rome the tourists see.
If you want to really experience Rome, this is an excellent place to stay. I was so happy not to be in a typical commercial lodging surrounded by tourists instead of Roman residents going about daily life.
